Looks like I walked into a battle zone when I googled up Countryways!

I’m comparatively new to forums, and being a country bumpkin I was looking for anything rural. Even if one was ever so slightly Welsh!
I inhabit Over the wossname too, but was totally unaware of inter forum problems when I joined, with the possible exception of HFW’s posh lot!
Never heard of ‘ghosts’ that was an eye opener! If you’d like me to bugger off back through the gate just say; I’m quite thick skinned!
But I’d like to keep my schizophrenic identities, as I have no axe to grind.

Stop your worrying mate, we are all free to go where we please. WE won't exclude you for going in other sites mate, and actually that enlivens all forums (fora?) with the cross-fertilisation that this mingling brings, so fill yer boots mate!

Stay where you are, Zak. I've enjoyed reading your posts on here and your very welcome.

A ghost is simply a bit of internet language for a member who has been made up entirely for the benefit of making a forum look like it's much more busier than it actually is. No need for such things on here I'm afraid.

No problems here Zak
Admin here was once a member over somewhere too but did not agree with the way it was so overly moderated so just chose to start his own site that would not be so jealously guarded, no problem really. Unfortunately it did not agree with the over the somewhere admin who reported us to the myff hosts and all the usual stuff that goes with it. No problems from our point of view, we are proud of a site full of genuine members and though many less in numbers than some other places at least we know they are all real people and more than just one person with many alias's. If that is what floats your boat then hey whatever, we just happen to find it incredibly amusing over here to be honest. What used to be a country forum has sort of faded from that really where as we are still on top of the game as well as having a lively chat section etc where we all join in on other topics as well. Each to their own to be honest. I think you will find though that with 50 to 60 members regularly online, you really would expect a few more of them to post once in a while wouldn't you ???????

take right now for example 50 users online :: 26 Registered, 1 Hidden and 23 Guests   yet there has been no posts for over a hour and a half through out the forum.dosnt that strike you as odd?
time to call the ghost busters.

Zak, I still haven't worked out who you are / were over there, but thoroughly enjoy your posts. You are down to Earth, frank, honest, open and funny. Don't go changing mate. Our forum would be less without you.
